"Jabez cried out to the
God of Israel, 'Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory!
Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be
free from pain.' And God granted his request."

Blessings
Are you seeking God's blessings
for your life? Jabez's prayer in 1st Chronicles 4: 10
(above) was answered. Jabez wanted God's blessings and the
good news is that 'God granted his request.' Jesus
tells us in Matthew 7: 7 "Ask and it will be given to you;
etc... (see verse below). God wants to bless your life.
Seek God's blessings in your prayers. Ask God to bless your
life so that you may better serve Him. For the real blessings
in life come from serving God. We are reminded in Acts
20: 35 "...It is more blessed to give than to receive."
Take God's blessings and share them with others.
So is there anything 'weighing' you down? Ask God to lessen
the burden! Are you feeling depressed? Ask God for His
peace and joy! Is your life hectic and full of pressures?
Ask God to help you manage your life and to set your priorities
straight! Are you struggling with sin? Ask God for grace
and His righteousness which comes through His Son Jesus! Do
you question how it is you can serve God? Ask Him for wisdom
and direction! I often pray to God to help me to be the man
He has created me to be. I ask him to open my eyes so that
I can 'see' and then for the strength to 'be' a servant for Him.
"Ask and it will be given you: ..." I encourage
you to spend some time in prayer this week and ask God to bless
your life. Thank Him for the many blessings you have already
received. Take His blessings in your life and serve Him by
helping those around you.
I pray that all is well with you. Please let me know if you
have any prayer concerns or blessings. Have a good week and
remember to smile :), the Lord loves you!

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find;
knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who
asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door
will be opened."
