“Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God.  God is in heaven and you are on earth so let your words be few.”

Ecclesiastes 5: 2

Let My Words Be Few

“Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God.  God is in heaven and you are on earth so let your words be few.”
Ecclesiastes 5:2
Let your words be few.  How do you say thank you to God?  How can words describe our appreciation for God’s incredible creation seen in the beautiful colors of the fall trees, sunrises, and sunsets?  The majestic display of the stars on a clear night?  How can we begin to exclaim our joy for the gift of life that He gives?  How can we thank Him for the Lamb?  His Son, a sacrifice given to us.

“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.  We all like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.  He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.” Isaiah 53: 5-7.  The Lamb is most worthy of our praise, “…For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.” Isaiah 53: 12.  How do you say thank you? Let your words be few for words are not enough.  Instead, stand in awe of God!  Praise Him for the Lamb.  We lift up our praise to the Lamb for He is worthy!  Let our lives be His praise!  For Worthy is His lovely name.  How do you say thank you?  Let your life be one that brings glory and honor to God.

I pray that all is well with you.  Please let me know if you have any prayer concerns or praises.  Have a great week and remember to smile :), the Lord loves you!

In Christ,

Shan D. Hartsough

“…For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.”

 Isaiah 53: 12.
