For whoever finds me finds
life and receives favor from the Lord."

Really Living?
Do you remember the movie Braveheart?
My favorite scene in that movie is when William Wallace (played
by Mel Gibson) is trying to rally the Scottish army that is about
to face a large, heavily armed British force. Many of the Scots
are starting to lose their courage and some start to run away. But
Wallace gives an impassioned speech to the army and they stay and
fight. In that speech he says the following, "All men die
but only a few really ever live!" How about you? Are you really
living? "Small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to
life, and only a few find it." (Matthew 7: 14)
Where do you find true life? This world is going to offer you many
things and try to convince you that it is what 'life' is all about.
But don't be deceived. I believe that true life can only be found
in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. "I am the gate; whoever
enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and
find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and destroy; I have
come that they may have life, and have it to the full." (John
10: 9-10) Jesus has come into this world so that we may find
true life through Him.
Can this 'life' be found in you? "And we pray this in order
that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in
every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge
of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious
might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully
giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the
inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. For he rescued
us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom
of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness
of sins. " (Colossians 1: 10-14). This life can be found
in you if you place your faith and hope in Jesus! Remember, all
men die but only a few ever really live. Are you really living?
I pray that all is well with you. Please let me know if you have
any prayer concerns or praises. Have a great week and remember to
smile :), the Lord loves you!
In Christ,

was the light of men."
