To God Be The Glory

To God Be The Glory! Do you know or remember this great hymn of faith? We sing it from time to time at Maple Grove. The first verse and chorus goes like this:

To God be the glory, great things He hath done, So loved He the world
that He gave us His Son, Who yielded His life an atonement for sin,
And opened the Life gate that all may go in

Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord, Let the earth hear His voice! Praise the Lord
praise the Lord, Let the people rejoice! O come to the Father through
Jesus the Son, And give Him the glory great things He hath done!

It is amazing how I can let myself forget God's glory. It is nice to be reminded of His greatness from time to time. Things just seem to 'work out' when we surrender ourselves to God! Despite our failures, struggles, or all the times we turn away from Him; God still loves us and has a use and purpose for our life. Now that is worthy of praise! Truly, to God be the glory!

I am personally very thankful for all the Lord has done for me. I deserve none of it. But the Lord's grace and love is wonderful. Take some time today and think upon all the Lord has done for you. Praise Him and give Him the glory!
