"I can do everything through
Christ who gives me strength."
-Philippians 4: 13
Strength
Isn't it amazing how exhausting life
can be? Whether you are working, going to school, maintaining a
home, serving your church, etc... there are days that can be just
plain frustrating or tiring. Thank God that we have a Lord who loves
us in good times and rough times. He is there for you to give you
strength. When those exhausting or frustrating times come, find
your strength in the Lord and they don't seem so bad! "So
do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your
God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with
my righteous right hand." (Isaiah 41: 10) Exhausting and
frustrating times are a part of life but praise the Lord that our
strength will be renewed through Him. What can we do with the strength
God provides? Everything! "I can do everything through Christ
who gives me strength." (Philippians 4: 13) So don't hold
back! Live life to the fullest!
Once you realize that the Lord is the source of your strength then
use that strength to bring honor to Him. In a passage from 1st
Peter, the apostle Peter writes about living your life for God.
"If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very
words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength
God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus
Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen."
(1st Peter 4: 11) Living your life for God is our calling. Using
the strength the Lord provides you to bring glory and honor to Him.
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all
your soul and with all your strength." (Deuteronomy 6: 5)
In fact God's first commandment to us (the 10 Commandments) calls
on us to love Him with all our strength. God is faithful. Live your
life for Him and He will be your strength!
I pray that all is well with you. Please let me know if you have
any prayer concerns or praises. Have a good week and remember to
smile :), the Lord loves you!

"The Lord is my strength and
my song; he has become my salvation. He is my God and I will praise
him, my father's God and I will exalt him."
