"Praise the Lord, O my soul.
O Lord my God, you are very great; you are clothed with splendor
and majesty."
-Psalm 104: 1
Praise The Lord, O My Soul
I love Psalm 104! It is a psalm
of praise to our Lord. Open your Bible and read this psalm. When
is the last time that you have just praised God? "He wraps
himself in light as with a garment; he stretches the heavens like
a tent and lays the beams of his upper chambers on their waters.
He makes the clouds his chariot and rides on the wings of the wind.
He makes winds his messengers, flames of fire his servants. He sets
the earth on its foundations; it can never be moved." (Psalm
104: 2-5) These verses cry out, 'Our God, the Creator, how awesome
You are!' Have we lost, in our world today, the excitement, awe,
and wonder of our God? Have you?
"May the glory of the Lord endure forever; may the Lord rejoice
in his works-he who looks at the earth, and it trembles, who touches
the mountains, and they smoke. I will sing to the Lord all my life;
I will sing praise to my God as long as I live." (Psalm 104:
31-33) God is incredible! Our lives should be filled with praise
for Him. When I think about all that God has done, his wonderful
creation, the earth, the universe, His love, His grace, I cannot
even come close to comprehending it all.
"Praise the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, you are very great;
you are clothed with splendor and majesty." (Psalm 104: 1)
But, I don't need to understand everything to Praise God! :) May
you take some time this week to Praise Him too! Amen.
Take a moment and encourage someone this week!
I pray that all is well with you. Please let me know if you have
any prayer concerns or praises. Have a great week and remember to
smile :), the Lord loves you!
